American Falls is blessed with a wide range of facilities. These have been the product of countless hours of student work, generous donations from local partners, and the school district's commitment to excellence.

What do our facilities include?
Ag Mechanics Shop
4,200 square feet of shop floor space
Features a state-of-the-art welding facility with the capability of ARC, MIG, TIG, and Oxy-Acetylene welding processes.
Includes a CNC Plasma Table, 18 functioning small engines, and a large variety of other tools and equipment.
Greenhouse
2,160 square feet of a gable-style greenhouse
Provides a working lab environment for students to gain practical plant production skills.
The program has a plant sale in May each year to sell the plants grown in the greenhouse.
Food Science Kitchen
Fully furnished kitchen equipped with ovens, utensils, and other cooking materials.
Provides a working lab environment for students to gain practical hands-on learning of food science principles and techniques.
Chicken Coop
200 square feet of protected indoor space and approximately 600 square feet of enclosed outdoor space
Includes seven varieties of chickens and a covey of chukars that produce anywhere from 40-90 eggs per week.
Provides a working lab environment for students to gain practical hands-on skills related to poultry and bird production.
Crop Field
10-acre field used for alfalfa hay production
Includes a Valley center pivot for irrigation
The hay is currently donated, but will be used for student projects when the new Haven Barn project is completed in summer 2022.
Cut Flower Garden
Approximately 4,300 square feet of cut flower production
Provides an outdoor working lab environment for students to gain practical hands-on skills related to growing flowers and foliage plants.
Students plant the garden in the spring, the flowers are cared for by students throughout the summer, and the flowers are harvested and used in the floral design courses each fall.
Haven Barn COMING SPRING 2024!
1,600 square foot pole barn
Provides a working lab environment for students to gain hands-on skills related to animal production.
Students are able to raise their own animals (swine, sheep, or goats) on-site throughout the spring and summer.
